Interpreter or Translator?
Interpreters work with spoken or verbal messages. They perform simultaneously, at the same time as the speaker, consecutively, at intervals when the speaker pauses, or via sight translation, from a written document into a spoken language.
Translators work with written materials, converting messages from one language into another written language.
